Sunrooms Stirling
Decal Scotland Ltd provides a full sunroom service to the Stirling area.
If you have a good amount of space available and can construct a sunroom that’s the full width of your house, one of the big questions is whether to go for an open plan design or not.
Most sunrooms around the UK are open plan. Often this is because they aren’t big enough o make it worthwhile to section them. But there’s also the fact that adding internal walls brings in more building regulations than an open plan design.
That’s not to say you can’t do it. For larger sunrooms, it may be more energy efficient to section them and to have a source of heat in each area. Plus there are ways to create a visual divide in the room that isn’t structural and can be removed if required.
There’s also the question of if it should be open plan into other rooms of the house. Again, there’s more considerations if you are knocking down walls to create this, especially if they are structural walls. Plus you may want to consider the impact on heating and cooling the other rooms of the house.
Whatever your preference, open plan or section, we can offer a free quote to help that idea become a reality.
