Then the spring clean-up can start.  There is always debris from trees and shrubs as well as rubbish blown around that can build up over winter when people aren’t doing regular outdoor maintenance.  So, it is good to clear away all of this – most commonly this will be on flower beds or planted areas and look ugly.

Once the debris is clear, steps can be taken to boost the landscaping for the spring to come.  Mulching flower beds can be one step while if there are areas of grass, they may need some treatment to boost condition or remove weeds.  Once this is done, any spring planting can then be considered.
