Kitchen Installation Cumbernauld
While everyone has gone a little mad for splashbacks and clever new materials to protect kitchen walls, there’s nothing wrong with the humble tile. Used for generations and available in hundreds of colours, sizes, textures and styles, we still have plenty of clients who love them.
When we start talking about a kitchen installation in Falkirk, one of the first things we talk about is the walls. Protecting bare walls from the constant use of the kitchen is always a good idea and also making sure it is easy to clean up that spitting tomato sauce or the mess when the blender lid comes off is a good move.
Sometimes, classic is best. Simple white tiles always look clean and fresh. Plus if you change the kitchen decor, they will work with any colour scheme you choose. You can also choose white tiles in different shapes - hexagons are an example.
Tiles don’t always have to be square and neat. Mismatched tiles and unusual shapes work well. Using rectangular tiles, you can create a basket weave style pattern but make the points the finishing edge. Don’t get stuck with all straight lines!
Don’t forget floor tiles when you are redesigning your kitchen. Even if you want other types of flooring for most of the floor, you can use them to accent areas such as around an island. They are practical and can bring some colour or pattern to the room.
